Abstract:This paper describes Time Slot Reallocation (TSR), a demand access protocol designed to support the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS)/Link-16 datalink system. It has been designed to be robust against poor connectivity and jamming threats, and results in an optimized allocation of capacity, even when the system is in overloaded conditions. The underlying concepts are applicable to other Demand Access Multiple Access(DAMA) applications.
