Precision Distance Measure Equipment (DME/P) is an important part of Microwave Landing System (MLS). The principle of precision distance measure equipment is provided. The disturbance in DME airborne equipment due to same frequency and coding is described. As a result, the analysis and solution is put forward, including upgrading the software and hardware design to achieve the normal operation of the system.
