Abstract:In the article, a new scheme for FPGA-based parallel radar data acquisition is proposed based on the experience drawn from the past radar data acquisition. The description and analysis of a specific hardware design and principle is provided. With FPGA’s reprogramming and field-programmable features available, the programming and debugging in VHDL will greatly reduce development time and improve flexibility of system. The result showed that FPGA-based system design is effective in reality.
