Abstract:DSP, which is characterized by rich hardware resource, fast operation rate and low power consumption, is appropriately applicable for data collection of laser gyro and navigation control algorithm operation. By the former experience, a design of laser gyro navigation board with C6713 and FPGA is proposed. A specific hardware design is presented. The FPGA with the characteristics of reprogrammable and field-programmable, in combination with programming and debugging by VHDL, can considerably shorten the development period and improve the flexibility of the system.
