Aiming at the problem of the tracking of dense multiple targets in cluttered environment, a novel formation group tracking algorithm based on interacting multi-model (IMM-FGT) is proposed and applicable for the clutter environment, by use of formation group tracking (FGT) and interacting multi-model algorithm. The simulation result indicates that the IMM-FGT is a effective solution to maneuvering group tracking.
