In order to improve the reliability of strapdown inertial navigation system, the redundancy configuration schemes of strapdown inertial navigation are investigated, the redundancy principle, the contrast of structure scheme and the dependable valuation are introduced. The result shows that, the superior design and collocation of the ship strapdown inertial navigation should be and can be realized.
