With the appearance of Network-centric warfare and the rapid development of network, underwater acoustic communication network is widely applied in the military affairs. Firstly, the actuality of underwater acoustic communication network is introduced in this paper. And then the characteristics of underwater acoustic communication network are briefly analyzed. Finally, the development prospect of underwater acoustic communication network is expected though the analysis and investigation of network topology and dynamic routing protocols.
