The GPS RAIM prediction system can calculate the RAIM availability of GPS satellites ahead, and can serve in the civil aviation airport. In the course of the system development, several RAIM availability calculation methods are investigated, and finally HPL method is determined to use. This method has the characters of distinct principle, low amount of calculation, exact computing result, and easy to engineering application.
