Abstract:A new large stoke two dimensional piezoelectric micro displacement worktable is studied and developed. The principle of arcuate displacement magnifying mechanism is introduced and the factors which influence the performance of magnifying mechanism are analyzed in this paper. We use the integrated design which includes the flexible hinges of worktable, elastic parallel plate and arcuate displacement magnifying mechanism, successfully achieve the large stoke and satisfy the requirement of transmission guide with high precision and stability. The two dimensional worktable which uses the lever amplification is simply compared with the new one, and both advantages and disadvantages are objective analyzed.
