Abstract:An implementation method of regional differential GPS technique based on COMPASS RDSS is presented. Comparing with differential GPS technology, it provides a solution to distance between reference station and user station. Calculating pseudorange corrections of a reference GPS receiver, ephemeris data, time data, pseudorange information and corrections extraction required for users’ receiver navigation solution, along with differential algorithm and receiver position algorithm can all be performed in DSP and FPGA. The analysis and comparison of experimental results show that use of regional differential GPS technique based on COMPASS RDSS can significantly increase GPS navigation positioning accuracy. It would facilitate high-accuracy GPS navigation positioning of the future.
