The paper describes basic principle of signal acquisition by use of software receiver, researches three different types of signal acquisition algorithms on DSSS system, and provides a corresponding implementation method for each algorithm on which creates a simulation platform. Based on the analysis and comparison of each algorithm, the application of a fast acquisition scheme in the software receiver is determined.
