Abstract:When Multi-satellite navigation system works, the increase in visible satellites leads to grow the computation of navigation solution by several dozens times, imposing heavy burden on user’s receiver, especially on high dynamic receiver. Comparing with traditional satellite selection algorithm, which can’t meet real time navigation requirement due to spending too long time in satellites selection, a fast satellite selection algorithm is proposed for multiple satellites navigation system to select several suboptimal stars. Through the establishment of the GDOP analysis model of multi-satellite navigation system, in combination with the partition and selection of the elevation and azimuth of visible satellites, a distributed rule of the excluded satellites is presented. The simulation shows that with less loss of positioning accuracy, it can substantially reduce the computation of the navigation positioning solution.
