Abstract:The AD9858 is a high performance DDS chip with the integration of 10-bit D/A converter at high speed, from which the sine wave signal with the frequency of up to 450MHz is output. The paper introduces the work flow and time sequence relationship of the AD9858, as well as how to configure registers in the AD9858 and how to design and implement the hardware for the AD9858-based frequency-modulated signal source.
