The application system based on underwater acoustic became more and more abroad in the ocean development. The transmission speed, loss, ocean noises, signal bandwidth, multidiameter transmission and Doppler of the underwater acoustic are particularly analyzed in this paper. The transmission characteristic of underwater acoustic is cleared, and it served as a reference to the study of underwater acoustic application.
