Automatic Carrier Landing System (ACLS) is the vital guarantee of improving the battle effectiveness of Aircraft Carrier. This paper introduces the development and frame of ACLS. With the introduction of development of American JPLAS, this article describes the evolution trend of satellite navigation landing techniques and meanwhile presents the technique difficulties of satellite navigation landing system.
