Abstract:On the basis of analyzing the working principle of TACAN beacon’s half-amplitude detection circuit, the main factors affecting the distance measuring accuracy of TACAN are discussed. On one hand, the quantitative relationship between the timing error of half-amplitude detection pulse and the amplitude error of reference voltage is derived. On the other hand, a method to reduce the timing error caused by multipath interference is proposed by controlling the delay time, so as to improve the accuracy of distance measuring.
