Abstract:Practice teaching with simulator has become an important approach to train the pilots. Firstly, the research significance for teaching and training by inertial navigation system (INS) simulator and the function are analyzed in this paper. The total design scheme is proposed, the INS navigator hardware box is designed based on microprocessor, the software is designed based on object oriented technology and virtual instrument technology. This simulator has several work modes and it can simulate all functions of the real INS based on virtual vision and flight simulation. The practice results of students show that it is good for training and should be popularized.
