Development idea of fire control radar for short range defense system with small caliber is presented by analyzing its status and task requirements. Fire control radar shall improve power and accomplish multifunction integration. Meanwhile, shipborne fire control radar also accomplishes cooperation detection as well as standard information interface and adopts modular design to improve the adaptability.
