Abstract:Acoustic signal has the character of more wide spread and deep in water than other kind of signals. The underwater acoustic ranging technology architecture and several ways to deal with the acoustic ranging are presented in this paper. The influence factors of underwater acoustic ranging in ocean environment are analyzed, the time differentiate of acoustic pseudo random spread spectrum is tested and then the performance of chip atomic clock in synchronization ranging is given, which can serve as a reference to improve the capability of underwater precise navigation system.
