Abstract:During the equipment support, we find the operator and administrator is not enough to learn on matching of optical axis and electrical axis of tracking radar for naval gun system, and not enough to take matter seriously. The concept of matching of optical axis and electrical axis and its significance are presented. In this paper, the quantitative relation of matching of optical axis and electrical axis and pointing accuracy of tracking radar is provided. It is emphasized that the influence on radar measurement precision, especially for azimuth accuracy of tracking radar in route shortcut which is induced by matching of optical axis and electrical axis. The conclusion is testified by typical flight route. It will improve the understanding and advance orientation calibration of tracking radar.
