The guidance requirements, system configuration, technology Principle and the development trend of the JPALS are studied in this paper. Through analyzing the conclusion can be drawn that when the JPALS were designed, they considered the technology inheritance and the compatibility of the differential augmentation and integrity monitor technology between differential systems for the landing system. And the JPALS will be the main mean for the U.S. Navy and Air force.
