Common Data Link is the main means of the real-time communication for the high capacity of U.S. ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance). In this paper, with the development of the Navy CDL equipments, the development trend of U.S. Common Data Link (CDL) is discussed and analyzed based on the transmission system of Common Data Link.
