The paper focuses on a kind of general validation method of routing protocol in underwater networks. The method builds the statistical models from the following aspects: area and topology, ability of node, choice of the best node and generation of route. The paper also provides the system simulation with AODV protocol. The simulation results show that the general validation method in this paper can achieve the effect and bound of protocol application in anticipative condition and provide credible basis for validating routing protocol in underwater networks.
