The basic principle and data transmit protocol of I2C bus are simply introduced in this paper, a design method of I2C bus interface protocol based on FPGA is presented. And according to the satellite navigation terminal equipment, the experiment result is given. The actual application effect proves that the design method is reasonable and effective, which can meet the demand of hot start in satellite navigation terminal equipment.
