The application of IBS has been attracted concern in military field in recent years. By summarizing the formation and development of IBS, the position and function in the warship sailing command of IBS is analyzed in this paper. The development characteristic and trend of IBS is provided. This described scheme is valuable as a reference for the development of the civil IBS production and application.
