Abstract:A mathematical model and algorithm analysis of BDS / GPS pseudo-range point positioning are introduced in this paper, and then the data of single point positioning which is received by the BDS/GPS receiver is simulated and analyzed. The RMS of BDS and GPS in the same period of X, Y, Z three directions and the PDOP values and changes in the number of visible satellites, the performance of BDS/GPS pseudo-range single point positioning are all compared. The results show that: PDOP value of GPS is about 1.8, PDOP value of BDS is about 2.5, RMS positioning precision of GPS is within 4m, RMS positioning precision of BDS is better than 9m.
