Modulation envelope of TACAN antenna is the important technical parameter to realize the system measurement, the waveform quality of modulation envelope which is described by the harmonic distortion directly influences the measurement accuracy. A simple method based on the USB virtual instrument, Excel and FFT is put forward in this paper to measure and calculates the harmonic distortion of modulation envelope for TACAN antenna.
