Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) has been greatly improved air and missile defense capability of US Navy, CEC system of US Navy Warship Formation is reviewed. First, the system structure of CEC is described, and the working principle and its workflow are elaborated. The command and control network of warship formation cooperative combat is also given. Secondly, the relationship between CEC and tactical data link (such as Link16/11, GCCS) is compared, which is focus on describing the differences between them. Finally, the relationship between CEC system and the Aegis combat system is detailed analyzed.
