Abstract:In view of the influence of the In-phase/Quadrature-phase (IQ) imbalance on the narrowband zero-IF receiver, this paper designs and implements a blind IQ imbalance calibration scheme base on signal statistical technique. The mathematical model of the narrowband receiver’s IQ imbalance is researched firstly, then, the imbalance coefficients of the amplitude and phase can be estimated based on signal statistical technique in order to compensate the IQ imbalance. According to the test results, the calibration scheme implemented in this paper can efficiently accomplish the narrowband zero-IF receiver’s IQ imbalance calibration.
