Cascading failure in communication network can cause the decrease in the robustness of the network, and if it is worse, the network will be largely paralyzed. To build a theoretical modeling is the basis and key to study cascading failure of communication network. A cascading failure modeling for communication network is proposed based on the mechanism analysis of cascading failure in communication network. The model is verified to be scientific and effective after the simulation analysis, in which innovative research ideas and methods will be provide to study the effect of cascading failure on communication networks.
