Abstract:This paper analyzes ADS-B technology and its application in transportation aviation surveillance management system, general aviation surveillance management system, UAV surveillance management system and collision avoidance system. Also, the necessity of building general aviation collision avoidance system and the feasibility and advantages of building ADS-B general aviation collision avoidance system are analyzed. It is shown that the general aviation collision avoidance system base on ADS-B is quite compatible with the general aviation features and demand of our country, and it has more advantages in performance than TCAS. Besides collision avoidance with the general aviation aircraft itself, the collision avoidance of the general aviation and UAV, the transport aircraft, and the ground building and obstacles can be realized. Based on ADS-B technology, general aviation collision avoidance system is overall built, including hardware part, software part, data part and general aviation collision avoidance system planning.
