Abstract:Due to the weak correlation of multipath signals, it cannot be eliminated by differential techniques. Errors brought by multipath have become the main source for ranging and positioning in some high precision applications. Through theory analysis and emulation, the CCRW technique has an outstanding multipath mitigation performance compared to the narrow correlator and double delta algorithm. Taking Beidou B1I signal as an example, the experiment was carried out on an engineering prototype receiver. The results show that, the CCRW algorithm has ability to mitigate the entire multipath delay signal except the delay around zero chips. Simplified receiver channel logic design through by optional local reference wave has the benefits of much less hardware resources and power consumption, showing a very promising applicable future.
