Close air support mission has become prominent in modern warfare.it could provide efficient battlefield situation, command and direction information, and other information interactions to close air support mission Through the tactical data link network, which can shorten the close air support time from initiation to attack, improve the accuracy and efficiency of strikes and become the focus of the US military. This paper takes the link-16 tactical data link as an example, and combines the close air support operational process to study the networking application and information interaction of the link-16 tactical data link in close air support mission.
