Based on the analysis of software defect classification and the needs of software testing, the software defect data is analyzed by using data arrangement method. According to the analysis contrast of data arrangement methods, the analysis method of software defect data which applied to the needs of testing is presented. And this method can promote the software defect data management and application, and improve the testing level.
