In ALPHA navigation system, the position is located by measuring the phase difference between the receiver and several stations. The traditional method of direct phase detection has low measurement accuracy. Utilizing the technology of Phase Lock Loop (PLL), the method based on carrier recovery acquires the phase measurement by using the recovered carrier. It is verified by simulation analysis that the method has higher measurement accuracy comparing to the method of direct phase detection, which can suppress the noise signal.
