频率源相位噪声是影响雷达改善因子的主要因素之一,文章分析、计算了雷达改善因子随频率源相位噪声的变化情况。通过对某型号雷达系统更换高相位噪声指标的 X 波段频率源模块,测试频率合成器及发射机相位噪声指标,并测试雷达的改善因子,实测雷达整机改善因子获得了平均约 5~8 dB 的收益,其结果与理论计算值相吻合。
Abstract:
The phase of frequency source directly affects the improvement factor of radar. This paper analyzes the changes of radar improvement factor with the phase noise of frequency source. By replacing the X-band frequency source module with high phase noise index for a certain radar system, this paper tests the phase noise index of the frequency synthesizer and transmitter, and tests the improvement factor of the system. The average yield of 5-8dB can be obtained by the improvement factor of the system. The results are in agreement with the theoretical values.
