The extent of operation capability improved by data link depends on whether the information support capability is consistent with the operational requirements. Based on the OODA Loop theory, this paper establishes a hierarchical OODA nesting model for close air support. In addition, proposing an information requirement framework of data link from the perspective of operational information support. More importantly, this paper puts forward an information analysis method of data link based on OODA theory, and it can be used to support the organization, application, and equipment development of the data link system in the future.
