Data link equipment is an important means for combat platforms to share battlefield situations and coordinate to complete combat missions. The paper first introduces the construction status of US Military’s data link equipment, then analyzes the organization, application and capability level of US Military’s different data link equipment in situational awareness, command and control, etc., and finally discusses the development trend of US Military’s data link equipment under new technologies and new combat concepts, the above work can provide reference for the future development of date link equipment in China.
