For the application demand of army communication station, a digital realization method of FM signal modulation and demodulation is proposed in the paper based on software radio design method. The principle and realization algorithm of digital realization for FM modulation and demodulation is given. In the simulation, the performance of our new proposed digital method is verified by comparing with the traditional analog method. Simulation results show that the new proposed method meets the military standard requirements.
