A dual-band Quasi-yagi antenna is proposed by adding the split ring resonator (SRR) structure to the design of the conventional microstrip Quasi-yagi antenna. The SRR is combined with the two arms of the driver,thus the arms can be seen as the spilt outer ring. It can be seen from the simulated results that the lower and upper resonance frequencies are generated by the Quasi-yagi and SRR structure respectively and good end-fire radiation patterns are obtained at both the two frequencies
