Abstract:In 2019, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued the roadmap for the application and implementation of the Beidou satellite navigation system in civil aviation to promote the application of the Beidou satellite navigation system in civil aviation. To study the application of the new technology of ground-based augmentation system (GBAS) integrated with Beidou satellite in Urumqi "smart airport", the development and research status of GBAS is explained, the necessity and feasibility of GBAS construction in Urumqi airport is demonstrated, and the GBAS technical scheme on this basis to meet the technical requirements of GNSS ground-based augmentation system in category-I precision approach is completed. It provides an important theoretical basis for the subsequent construction of Urumqi airport GBAS.
