A heterogeneous information fusion algorithm for multiple radar and infrared sensors is designed. Combined with the actual use of multiple radar and infrared sensors, the spatial registration method of multiple radar and infrared heterogeneous information is studied. Different filtering algorithms are selected according to the characteristics of radar and infrared heterogeneous measurement to estimate the target motion state and data fusion of multiple radars and infrared sensors is realized. Through the simulation and testing of the cooperative detection scheme of different sensors, the practicability and effectiveness of the algorithm is verified fully and the actual engineering application is met.
