Abstract:Regarding the current range of action of ground Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) navigation platform, which is generally about 200 n miles, aircraft often needs to pass through multiple DME navigation platforms during the voyage. Thetraditional airborne DME equipment can only work at a single frequency, which requires the pilot to manually switch the frequencyof the corresponding ground platform, which increases the workload of the pilot. Starting from the actual engineering application, through the analysis of the working process of airborne DME equipment, the multiple polling technologies are proposed and the twomodes of direct scanning and free scanning are studied and realized. This technology can improve the accuracy of route positioningand reduce the workload of pilots.
