Abstract:Because of the character of all-day, all-weather, long-range and high resolution, Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) has been widely used in target detection, motion monitoring, enemy identification, weapon precision guidance and other fields. While ISAR imaging technology and application technology are becoming more and more mature, it has become an inescapable task to carry out the research of relative electronic countermeasures. A pulse convolution jamming method against ISAR is proposed. After intercepting the ISAR transmitted signal, the jammer uses the pulse sequence with different delay characteristics to convolution with it, and transmits it to the ISAR receiver. The actual effect of delay pulse and ISAR transmitted signal convolution is equivalent to simulating the scattering point echo located in a specific distance unit. Therefore, by controlling the delay parameters of the pulse, the effect of producing false motion scattering points can be achieved. The engineering implementation of this method is simple and amount of calculation is small, so it has a certain application prospect.
