Abstract:The Doppler Very High Frequency Omni-Directional Range (DVOR) remains a critical aviation infrastructure system due to vulnerability of GNSS signals. In order to overcome the shortcoming of traditional DVOR such as low integration, low accuracy, a DVOR based on vector signal processing is designed. The transmitter exploits Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) to directly generate various modulated signals at Radio Frequency (RF), providing real-time RF control loop in signal forming, stable output signal, and ensuring multi-channel phase coherence. Using high speed Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) for direct RF sampling for monitor signal processing to improve system integrity. After testing, it has been shown that the equipment has stable performance and fully meets the requirements of relevant standards and specifications
