Abstract:In order to meet the practical application needs of general aviation aircraft to mitigate the risk of controlled flight into terrain, an innovative design of airborne navigation equipment based on satellite navigation was proposed. The equipment utilizes the high-precision and high-integrity position output of Beidou Satellite Based Augmentation System (BDSBAS) to provide general aviation aircraft with approach guidance, terrain altitude indications and terrain warning functions, providing a low-cost solution for general aviation aircraft to achieve precision approach and improve situational awareness at low altitudes.
