Close air support requires multiple combat units to work closely together, thus establishing a reliable and interoperable communication network between combat units is the key to winning close air support mission. Firstly, the combat units involved in the close air support mission and its communication equipment are briefly described. Then from the point of the communication link between the commanding agencies and the combat units in the close air support mission, the communication network used in the close air support combat is studied.
