Abstract:In order to meet the need of large-capacity and low-latency wireless communication links for backbone networks in network-centric warfare, a RF/laser integrated wideband common data link system is designed and implemented. A hybrid network is adopted to realize high-reliability and high-rate transmission, microwave photonic mixing technology is used to realize optical domain RF processing for RF communication link, and homodyne coherence detection and receiving technology is adopted to improve the sensitivity of the free space optical communication system.
