This paper analyzes the characteristics of Beidou satellite navigation system signal and signal source broadcast signal, expounds its role in positioning, navigation and timing services, and probes into the classification of test items and specific methods. The research shows that the Beidou satellite signal has the characteristics of high precision, multi-frequency band and anti-occlusion, and the signal source signal can flexibly simulate various test environments. Through the classification of test items and the analysis of typical test methods, the application scenarios of different signals in performance testing are further revealed.
