Abstract:To address the mission requirements of microwave beyond-line-of-sight radar for detecting long-range maritime targets, this paper introduces a design methodology, directional pattern simulation, structural implementation, and test results for an X-band parabolic column array antenna. Comprising 256 parabolic columns, this antenna features large aperture size and high cost-effectiveness, achieving 47 dB antenna gain with a scanning angle of ±40°. It demonstrates promising application prospects in phased array radar systems.
